Meet Stephanie
Imagine living a life that is open to all the joy and beauty that life has to offer.
Picture what it would feel like to get up each day and breathe a resounding 'Yes!' into your day. A YES to having moments that move you beyond words, beyond breath, and right into your dreams and aspirations.
I believe as we begin to heal, to integrate and to thrive we begin to live a life that is delicious, alive, and filled with passion. I'm committed to helping you find your way to your best and most yummy life.
Stephanie Shelburne
A body-focused psychologist with passion; Stephanie Shelburne is helping people literally come back to their senses and find their personal gateway to conscious eating and living. Using a pioneering blend of food coaching, process-oriented body movement, and the cultivation of sensory awareness, she helps her clients to heal and anchor themselves in lives that feel full and beautiful. Love your food, love your body, love your life.
A consummate expert who leads by example, Stephanie brings her warmth and light-hearted wit to her role as educator, guide, and catalyst. She entices her clients to learn how to feel the nuances of their body’s response to the foods they choose. This personalized metamorphosis has been life-changing for countless people who thought their chance for a whole relationship with their bodies and their ability to nourish themselves would elude them forever.
With a lifetime of practicing mind-body principles, Stephanie compassionately provides a safe space for people to make the biggest shift of their lives — from using food to mask their real obstacles to health and well- being to using food as a tool to re-ignite their passion for life. This process is especially effective for those dealing with trauma-based eating behaviors.
If you are having difficulty staying on a diet or getting exercise, it’s most likely not because you don’t know what to eat or what to do. It’s more likely about motivation, desire and happiness. Stephanie knows that you cannot truly heal yourself, or reclaim the parts of yourself that have fragmented until you do a little soul work. Rather than losing yourself in the busywork of another diet or eating plan, allow Stephanie to guide you in the creation of genuine health and happiness. Carpe Adventum! (seize the adventure!)
